I need to buy a powersteering kit. Most places sell a PS kit with either 8AN or 10AN fittings. Which should I buy?
Next.. I need headers for an IMCA stock car metric Monte Carlo.

Speedway sells two headers... a high velocity and an regual Shoenfield.

Is the more expensive one worth the money?
Which tube size? 1-5/8 or 1-3/4

Personally, I like the PS kit where the fluid reservoir is built onto the side of the pump. The one I'm using is made by AGR, with an aluminum pump. If you go to http://www.agrsteering.com/ it's the pump in the middle of the page, with the black on it.

As far as headers go I have a different opinion, I use the small tube Schoenfeld step headers. 1-1/2" stepped to 1-5/8". Everything I've been told is that the small tube makes torque with the 350cfm carb. I switched to these mid-season last year from a pair of 1-5/8" Dynatech's, and believe that I could feel the differnce.

Also, FWIW, 1.75" might be pretty tight in the metric frame, depending on the header. I know my old 1-5/8" had to be "modified" (read dented) in certain areas to fit properly.

Thanks for the help.

That AGR pump looks interesting, but the site has no pricing information.
