Use stock to meet the rules on the sides, and a chain from the left head to the frame rail.

Thats as close as youll get to legally solid.

don't think you can run any chains on the car in imca if you want solid mounts you can weld a plate from the engine mount to the frame down side you have to cut the deal out ever time you want to pull it i have also seen guys use turn buckles on bolth sides of the motor to the frame same concept myself i just run the stock mounts off a nova think a solid mount off some v6 will work also but not sure which one it was

The energy suspension replacement rubbers are the best way to go if you must run stock mounts. No chains needed, and you will never bust them.I think there around $60 bucks but well worth the money.Id use the tranny mount also.

[.Beg your pardon, I ran energy mounts for 2 years and finally broke them. It took hitting the wall and destroynig the rest of the car too but I did break em

u want the motor as solid as possible, (it transfers more torque). we use the mounts from gp, regal, cutlass, that had the v-6. U have to make a spacer for the bolt but not that hard. Make sure u use a rubber tranny mount gotta give it some give some were.

just make sure you put them in the holes closer to the firewall. its like a 1 1/4" farther back. this will give you more rear percent. you will need a VERY big hammer to rework the firewall.
