im making the move from factory to super stock and i had ordered a digital tach from speedway motors but its back-ordered till march. what are you guys runnin for tachs and how do you wire it into a msd super hei kit (The kit has a 6al box hi vibe. coil and a bypass distributor cover) thanks for the help

i run an autogauge memory tach it's basiclty the autometer generic not sure how you would wire it with your system but for$100 it's hard to beat for a 5 in memory tach

Spend a little more for the water proof version. A shorted tach can kill the engine.

Their should be a female connector on the left side of the box(it may be on the right side of a 6al box). Take the pick up wire from the tach and put a male connector on it and plug it in to the side of the box. Hook the ground to the chassis and I usaully hook other two wires together so light is on when cars ignition is on This is how my tach is wired only I have a 6a box.

Eaton 89 is right, connection is on side of MSD box, spade connector
