Ive got most of my car caged etc. Its a 75-79 nova imca legal.

I have never built a dirt car so I have a couple ?s.

whats my ride ht going to be, Im thinking 5 inches at the bottom of the clip, or center of front crossmember. imca tires are 80-83 tops

I ran 4 inches 10 years ago with a nine inch on pavement and had to cut the rear of the driveshaft tunnel out, am I going to need to do this to this car on this dirt car??

Thanks

Most dirt stock cars running IMCA I have worked on and built run around a 6" ride heigth in front and a 7" in rear. Shouldnt have to cut the trans tunnel at all.

hows that measured, if your talking metrics and measuring on the stock sides of the rails, and thats at 6 and 7, then that would put my car at 4 and 5 to be the same. metrics rails are higher than mine compared to crank, crossmember ht etc.

thats why I was thinking 5 inches??
