How light can we go? Metric Malibu with #1 even with the Balljoint. Exactly how light of a car can you build with good rear percentages and a radial tire? Faced with no wieght rule, this has me thinking about building a new chassis for 04 rules.

can you add weight at all if so i'd gut everything under the sun and go as light as posible most imca stocks and hobbies are in the 26-3000# range on the track mine i could lighten up some more and it is 2850 with me and 22 gallons of fuel in her get 51% rear

my stockcar built to imca type rules was 2650 with 22 gallons...no driver. add driver to get to 2810.

this years car will be lighter...

i here ya man around here everybody complains about imca but realy they are probably the most conservitive sanction body around. we run most of there rules but change the stuff that their sponsors have paid for
