HAVE A WHAT SEEMS TO BE A FORD LOCKER HAVE ANY OF YOU TRIED THESE AND DID THE HOLD UP VERY WELL CONSIDERING USING IT FOR A A NEW GEAR SET UP OR MAYBE USE A FULL SPOOL AND STILL USE THE CASE I KNOW THAT STAGGER WANT BE AS CRTICAL BUT WHAT ARE THE DOWN POINTS

if its a ford oem unit

i tried one it fried the discs right away..

detroit locker is all that will hold up i think.

does anyone think their is an advantage to running a locker compared to a spool

Ive ran a detroit on pavement and wasnt any faster.

It was a little easier going in if my stagger wasnt perfect, but would lock and unlock if in traffic on exit,when on and of the gas, you had to be smooth etc.

If stagger is right it doesnt make you any faster in my opinion, and its just something else that can break.

HEY 66JJ CAN I JUST TAKE OUT THE INSIDES AND PUT A MINI SPOOL IN AND GO I HAVE IT APART AND DONT SEE WHY IT CANT BE DONE WE BUSTED THE MAIN CAPS ON THE LAST REAREND AND THIS ONE IS A EXTRA ONE THAT HADNT BEEN BUILT

yes thats exactly what I did and tossed the guts.

if I remember ford calls it a trac lok..
