Is there anyone on this board that will share which procedure on how to modify the case of a Powerglide. I have a book that tells how to do this for drag racing applications and say it will work for a circle track Powerglide. The book explaines two different procedures on how to drill and install the tran-breaks, but dosen't tell which procedure to use for circle track.

Thanks, Mansfield

Sorry for the misunderstanding, The book dosen't say use the trans-break, just the modification to the case itself. This increases line pressure to the clutches for less slippage. One modification has two
extra holed drilled. Thanks, Mansfield

Try looking on E-Bay for a book called the Powerglide Transmission Handbook. I bought mine for 20 bucks and it was worth every penny. It has a ton of information and is real easy to understand.
