Go to www.Quickperformance.com they have every option on Ford 9" you could want and will customize if you have a special request. The 10 bolt that came out of your Monte metric was probley about 52+ housing and 58" flange to flange. They have this already to go with the metric brackets. THey also have a reasonable priced disc. brake kit to go with the ford 9". LOL

I run all stock except for tube uppers. mine is a 84 monte. i set my camber -6 on the right front and go.no other special tricks. mabey move the pitman arm up 1/2". acts like a tight sway bar on the front. on the rear end i use one out of a 79 lincoln cont. w/ disc brakes, and add on a four link adjustable to get the twist. go to freeportracewaypark.com and go to the photo gallery and look for the blue #15 and you can see how the rear end works in the corners. it keeps the other tire out of traffic.lol

What width depends on what tires you run. I put a 62 inch foater under my 81 cutlass and with 4 inch wheels the outer sidewalls are flush with the body.

[I ran the nova lowers and tubular uppers this year and had great results/ yes I had to work out the bump steer a little but it wasn't too bad. we destroyed the car 3 weeks ago and are going to move up a class
If your interested I can sell you the uppers and lowers and correct ball joints/ with urethane bushings too/ It also allowed a wider rear end and increased Percentages to the rear because of moving front end 2 inches forwardand 2 inches wider/ e-mail me or call 205-620-3488/205-665-1199 I'll tryto help if interested
