6.20 should be about right for most 3/8's.

I ran a 6.33 on a 3/8's and turned about 6500 with 86" rollout, then I went to a 6.20 and turned about 6200

I run a high banked 3/8, and everyone in my class is running between 6.20-6.33.

you guys need to keep tire roll in mind when desiding a gear that has a huge part of what gear to deside lubeguy and i run the same track he runs that 6.20 and i run a 5.67 on a 1/2 mile but we turn the same amount of rpm i'm willing to bet because i run smaller tires on the rear. most guys around here run a 83-85 in roll and turn 65-6800 with a 6.33 on the 3/8th.
gould boone is not a 3/8th it's a 1/3 that seams like a pretty deep gear most guys i know that run there run a 6.50 or 66 with a 83 in roll
