Did you ask if the car ran hot before you bought it? I would run the way it is and then if you run warm then cut a hole in the nose.

More than likely you will have to have a hole cut out to get air to the radiator.

i agree most guys will cut out the grill section and use a whole saw and cut a few holes in the lower grill and thru the bumper. also run 3 layers of screen behind it i run 1/2 in 1/4 in then window screen that way if the nose falls off you still have plenty of protection from mud

No holes no air dam on a monte nose 190 all year long no problems plus no mud to clean out of the rad.

I have 2003 mote carlo nose. It has no holes cut in it at all. I haven't run over 200 in three years.
