Hi, I have a 79 Cutlass and was wanting to reskin it. I have never done this. Any help with were to cut and how to mount would be great! Thanks, Mud

if you would like i can e mail you some pics of mine from last year realy simple as long as you don't have alot of bars in the rear of the car basicly i just cut all the bars out or the back and cut the front roof posts then make a cut across the rear seat self then the whole rear section comes off just cut the donor car the same way and there you go i did my car with a buddy of mine in one nite then i just put some 1 1/2 sleaves over the original 1 1/4 bars in the back and welded her back up

That sounds like a different way if doing it...
could you send me a pic or two if that? I have done mine in the past, but it always has "weird" looking seems. Just looking for a different, or better way then what I have been. email..

That's the way i did mine too,just cut the body behind the driver and main cage uprights and windshield pillar and lower the new back half on and bolt it down,use sheetmetal for the windshield pillars,skinning takes alot of work to do,the guy i bought my car from spent alot of time and sawzall blades for nothing.
