i would like to run a ford 9 inch but what length should it be for a 78 camaro?Also are these posi track or do you weld the gears like a 10 bolt any help would be greatly appriciated.

61.5 outside to outside

welded or mini spools work fine.

a mini spool replaces your spider gears in the carrier. Most tell you to use a moly pin on super low gears too. Just pull the spiders out and put the spool in and replace the pin. Just make sure you have the rite spline for your axles. Spools are cheap for a 9 inch usually around 28 bucks.
