Can you just screw a 1/8npt fitting into a chevy brake caliper or do you have to use banjo fittings?

No, the 1/8 pipe will not thread in and seal. Use the stock fitting. You can drill the hole over size and tap for 1/4 pipe. The drill bit will crawl sideways but you can make it work. This is the way I remember it. SLEEPY

Thanks,thays what i figured.I will go with the banjo to #3 an.Im running steel braided.

I have always had crappy luck with non stock brake lines. On a street stock I would run new stock lines. Contrary to popular opinion, they are plenty strong for the application, and are easy to hook up and maintain.
