Anyone tried running same rate or 50 odd lb heavier than rf on the lf for a slick flat track?

yes, that's becoming more popular. i've never done it, but some guys are running 100 lbs. heavier spring on the LF to promote body roll. it will loosen the car up on entry.

yea couldnt get the car to handle right then changed springs put 1100 on left and 1050 on right now it plants the right and handles great

Results must vary - everyone I know running the stiffer LF spring is doing it to tighten the car on entry.
The high bite LR setups reduce sidebite at the RR, so the guys figured out by stiffening the LF, it keeps weight on the RR on entry, and tightens the car in. It also seems to help turn in the middle, and does not effect the exit much.
