Hello again!! What vehicle would have two 30 inch axles stock?? Also, ford only had 5 on 4 1/2 and 5 on 5 1/2 bolt patterns right?? We would really like to find some with a 5 on 4 3/4 bolt pattern but i don't know. Any info would be appreciated or if anyone has any axles like this they would like to sell, let me know. Thanks.

you will have to drill your own hole pattern.
Easiest way would be get a wheel spacer that has each pattern in it and bolt it on and then drill teh new pattern.
good luck.

68-72 ford pick up's have 30" axles on both sides. they are 5 x 5 1/2" and will need to be redrilled and machined. no fords came with 5 x 4 3/4" bolt pattern. some did have 5 x 5" bolt pattern though.....some older lincolns and big fords. bronco 2's didn't have 9" rearends. they had 7.5" rearends or possibly an 8.8". these axles don't interchange with 9" axles. they use a c-clip axle similiar to GM rearends.

The 9 in. I have is out of a 80 full size Bronco with 30 in. axles 31 spline. You'll have to redrill it for you own bolt pattern. Let me check I may have a spare 30 in axle.

Start calling the wrecking yards.
I picked up a full 9" rearend, 2 axles, gears and housing for $100.
A local machine shop redrilled the axle for my bolt pattern and turned down the end to fit my rear disk rotor for $25 each axle.
I now have extra parts...sorry not for sale..

Thanks everybody, thats kinda what i had figured. Also, when measuring stock type axles do you measure from the inside of the flange to the end of the splines?? I've never had to measure anything other than a floater axle, thanks again.
