Will a factory GM power steering setup work on a motor turning about 7500 rpms?
Will the bracket from Speedway motors for a stock pump work good?
I Guess my question is Do i have to have an aftermarket setup for my application (Limited Sportsman-Bomber)
I dont want to change from my manual steering if im just looking to have problems unless i use the aftermarket deal
As Like all other racers, Racin on a budget
Much Thanks for Help

I ran a stock pump and bracket all last year and I turned about 7,000. Never threw a belt and the pump worked fine. Make sure your pulleys line up perfectly and try to find some deep grooved pulleys and you should be fine.

we run a %50 recuction pully on the crank-it's deep and slows the pump down enough the keep it from slinging the belts off- just won't work at an idle after it gets good and hot.
