Hey everyone! I was wondering where I can get one of those fire extinguishers that the other guys put water in to cool their radiators down when they come in the pits. The ones I've seen are silver, I just don't know where to get one at. Thanks.

I've seen a plastic, low budget version in the garden section of most home improvment stores. They are used for garden sprayers.

Check with some local fire extinguisher companies. Here in Cal. there are plenty since these types of ext. are not allowed in buildings per the fire code. A fire ext. co. should have some used ones they would part with for a reasonable fee..
Good Luck!

most places that lease extinguishers to businesses and come check them yearly will have a few "out of service" ones laying around. They are only good for X amount of years so when they exceed this limit, they can no longer be used for anything but scrap of radiator cleaners/coolerdowners for those of us who do the work to track one down. I got mine for free..... but I know the guy who does the purchasing for the extinguisher company!!!!!
