Hey I am really considering getting into racing and was wondering for this street stock class what is the make of car that would be the best for me. Ive heard alot about the metrics for the bomber cars, are those the most widely used cars in street stock or is there some other models that shine in this division. Plus is this a class that you want to start out in or should a fellow start out in bombers right away. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Depends on what the rules are. The bigger Montes are better for stock suspension and street tires. If you can modify the suspension, like using weight jacks and changing the stock rear suspension the metrics are better because they are lighter and are more avaliable. Hope this helps.

i would start out in the lowest class thats what it's there for get some seat time and figure the car out . also best bet use something that can be upgraded in the future metrics are lite, fast, still alot of replacement parts around and will fit alost any stock classes rules and is ez to up grade if you plan on moving up without having to build a whole new car. myself i run the bomber class here and if i wanted to move up to the next class it would cost me less then 500 to be competitive

I would go with a second generation GM F body (1971-1981). They are easy to set up and pretty easy to find. But if you have to run street tires go with a metric car.
