Have seen and heard of people running shocks upside down. What are the benefits or advatages of doing so? Disadvantages? Thanks, Steve

There is less unsprung weight that way. The less unsprung weight the quicker the suspension can follow the track. The theory is the lower A-arm only feels the weight of the shock from the piston out - so upside down is actually the right way for a racing shock to be run. Make sure your shocks can be run this way!!! Stock shocks will not work when inverted.
