runnig a 78 buic regal in hobby class at local 1/2 miletrack.going to scale it this week and need some idea where i should be?
specs are :
lf spring 900lb rf spring 1200lb
lr 200lb rr 175lb
total car weight 3044lbs
2" frt stagger 1.5 - 2-1/4 rear stagger
pushes into corners good off when tacky but way loose off dry slick.
any help would be appreciated.

Scott, see if yu can find a tire that will even up the stagger in your rear. When you do, you'll find that your push gets lots worse, but rest assured -you're going in the right direction. When you get the rear evened up and you're sitting on the scales, work with the springs till you get the crossweight down to around 49%. Watch the ride heights and keep the wedge in the body. It will take you some time, but it will pay off at the track.
