the track i plan to run on, rules state oem cast intake 2bl or 4bl. the power i want to use is a 351w with a oem 2bl alum. intake. what are my chanses of geting by with it. thanks, scott

you can have it sprayed with cast iron so a magnet will stick to it, but i think an early cast iron 2 bbl. intake will flow better.

why early cast iron? i only ask because i dont know! i have a 1985 351w police package with that alum. intake

Id think slim to none. If the rules state CAST oem then it must be CAST oem. If not there might be some leway on it. Our rules state CAST oem, no BOWTIES. If them officials are anything like ours they might have smartened up and run the old magnet over the intake to find out. Eddie

you might fined a 4barrel intake from a 69 351w on ebay or something.thats cast oem
