ok i have metric 84 monte carlo, 1200 rf,1000lf,250 lr, 200 rr, afco stock mount shock, and the car is 3500 pounds. I run on half mile clay that is usally dry at feature time. Tires are 245/60/15 tiger paws no tubes. Where should Begin with tire pressures. My uncle set it up last week with 31 pounds in all tire except about 26 in lr, this seemed odd to me. Car was ok but would only run on the bottom and soon as I moved in the racing grove it would not turn. I have ran 28rf,26rr,24 on both left sides and done ok but was told that was wrong too. So do I go lower on a dry track or where would you start. If someone could tell me what tire you would adjust for diff. conditions such a if its loose do you adjust left rear most of the time. Im just tryng to get a base line and we cant run tubes/ thanks all

Yes those tire pressures seem awful high. I would think you could run them as low as 15 lbs if needed.

You guys must race on very smooth tracks I run 245/60 cooper cobras on a 3/8 med banked clay and I run 33rf 33rr 30lf 31lr. The reason being is a dot tire underinflated bows up in the middle reducing contact patch and it also causes the tire to roll onto the sidewall if you can keep it on the rim.
