I need some help from the forum. The problem is that on race starts or resarts my steering wheel shakes in my hands so badly that I can hardly hang on to it. Once we go into the corner and come up to speed the shake goes away. The only thing we have changed to try and stop this was the steering box.
If anyone can help us out here it would be very appreciated.

Check your front end for bent or worn parts, then have the front end aligned. It sounds like the car has negative caster. This will make the steering very loose.

You need 1/4" toe out...make sure it is not toed in or it will cause this.

Thanks guys,
The problem was a very loose tie rod end, a very loose lower ball joint. Funny thing is we checked all that before we went racing that weekend.
