I changed left hand spindle on 84 monte and I took the spindle off a another monte looked like same year model but the other spindle was designed a liitle different where the tie rod hooked up making the tire tow in like 2 inches or more I adjusted it out with the tie rods but will this throw something else off or will it be fine, i have run it like this and not noticed a difference but would like opinions

pretty good, the only problem that I notice it has caused is that it turns sharp left and not so sharpe to the right since the change but who wants to go to the right lol

i'm with 21 i'll bet that new one is bent metric spindles are very weak a good curb shot could bend them but they have come out with spindle savers now to help solve the problem somewhat. check out a newer speedway catolag they are like 20 bucks a set

when you ajusted the tie rods did you do one side or both? you need to try to keep then the same length if you can. might take care of turning diff. sure its not bent?
