What is the best way to check rear end alignment on a monte carlo hobby stock.

Can you measure from the cross member or what? What is the best place to measure from?

I didnt think you could measure from ball joints because i thought the RF wheel was farther forward than the LF. Maybe the difference is in the a frame and the rear control arm mounts are the same location.

i understand about caster changing the wheel location but what i was getting at is if you look at like a 69' chevelle the RF wheel is positioned about 3/4" furthur forward than the LF from the factory to help offset the crown in the road(or something like that) to make the car drive straight. That is why i am not sure the lower ball joint zerk is the best place to measure. Maybe the metric frames are not built like this?

I don't have first hand experience with that front clip, but I would be surprized to find ANY mass produced chassis that was not designed to be symetrical up front (prior to FWD).....
