I am building a new IMCA hobby stock and would like to put a saginaw tranny in it.
What clutch is the best to use that will pass tech? What final drive should I use for a 1/3 mile medium banked track? Should I run the tranny in 3rd gear? I have a stock tranny with three rings on the input shaft and a stock bellhousing. What throwout bearing should I use? Thanks

you won't be able to run a stock bell housing in imca you have to have a blowproof housing . yes you should run 3rd gear with around a 6.50 gear with 205/75/15 tires as for clutch get the set up off an older camaro with 10.5 clutch set up on it. and use the stock throw out bearing and stock fork for the least amount of headache with a stock linkage or jr motorsports sells a clutch pedal with a cable onm it to use with the stock fork or if you want to go with a hydrolic setup we use wilwood stock bearings in ours this year
