We were told if we were going to vist the neighbooring track we had to get American Racers.I ****ed and moaned for weeks and was not planning to return.Tonight the owner of the local track has loaned me a set to race on for friday night. He says you can run as low as 8 lbs without beadlocks.I personally would never run any tires without tubes, just a safty precaution I guess.I not found of the American raceing tires cause the tire rolls are all about 82" for the G60's.I perfer to run the DOT tires with diffrent tire rolls.Hope this info is helpful.

I run about 18 lbs on the RF, 16lbs on the RR & LR, and about 8 lbs on the LF

What is the reason for running such a low pressure on the LF?

I run 17rf, 15 across the back, and 10lf. I have seen the same guy roll off his lf tire at 8# two weeks in a row. I like to stay at 10# minimum just to be safe. I too have never rolled one off, and our track (backwoodsracer and mine) is very pot-holly I guess you would say... no tubes either. Just more rotating weight as far as I'm concerned, but did use one once when I couldnt afford a new tire and had one with a hole that was still meaty.
