Have you guys ever plugged asphault pulloffs? I've always had them patched. I'm afraid of pulling out the plug, I just wanted more opinions before I did it.

I'm not going to pull the plug out myself. I was worried about pulling out on the track when the tires are spinning.

Carry plugs with us to the track. Have had to use them and have had no problems knock on wood. Just cut the plug off at the tire. Eddie

just go to a scuba center type store and get some tubes of aqua seal, its for repairing diving suits been using it on holes as big as caused by a header bolt, thru a goodyear slick with never ever a problem.

scuff it, clean it and squirt it on i do a 1-2 inch circle over the hole and let it dry for 24 hours.....

Do not plug repeat do not plug atleast in radial tires it will do more damage than good they will still leak 99% of the time in the end and ;you will more than likely ruin the tire by making the hole to big or braking a belt. just take you a drill with a grinding stone and get some glue and if you are using tubes or bias tires use the orange trimmed patches if radial use the other kind. just scuff it smooth put light coat of glue and let dry then stick patch on. This again is only my .02 so good luck Bobby
