Right know i have a crossover between both valve covers with a k&n vent and i am getting oil all over the hood. I was wondering if i could vent to the header, or will this cause to much of a vaccum. I figure the exhaust will pull a vaccum

if you are having that much oil coming out i would look for the problem such as broken rings or cracked piston . as far as venting it through the header, that may cause a fire , i dont think it would be worth the risk.

Venting into the headers will suck too much oil from the engine over a long race. Plus an oil leak smokes a little but oil in the headers smokes a lot. Try moving your breathers off to the side of the motors.

I run the breathers to the exhaust, Mr gasket makes a kit to do just that, it actually equalizes pressure and helps to keep the gaskets from leaking, Ive got 60 nights on this setup and it works.
