I also run 20w50 Valvoline racing and change it after every race. Read in SCR to run 10w30 Synthetic blend, gonna try it they said it was better for dirt. Eddie

I am trying something new this year, went from Mobil One to Cen Pe Co 15w40. It is supposed to be some great stuff, who knows. All the tractor pull guys use it, but I dont know too much else about it. I also change my oil every month or so.

I had a guy that builds motors tell me to run SAE 40. He said this helps keep the oil temps down, and is better on the motor. I run a 327 in a Pure Stock, and I change mine every 4 nights, unless something happens. Last time out I threw the belts and got the motor hot, so I changed it after that. I figured that as hot as the motor got, the oil got broke down more that normal, so I didn't want to take a chance.
