Where do you measure your ride heights at on a metric frame?

I've measured them at the bottom of the frame behind the front tires and at the bottom of the frame in front of the reaar tires. I've been told to measure from the lower control arm bolts. To measure the rear from the bottom of a hole in the frame to the ground. Where do you measue yours? Everybody is talking setting frame heights. So there has to be one place to measure from so we are all talking about the same height.

Thanks

This is how we set our ride heights on a metric car. I measure from the bottom of the front and rear joints on the frame. You have to look closely, but you can find the joints. on the rear is is just in front of where the body bolt goes through the frame rail. On the front it is just back of where the frame rail kicks in for the front tires. I have been thinking of welding a washer at these points so anybody else can find it and measure it quickly.

p.s. It doesn't rally matter whaere you measure from. As long as you always measure from the same place.

That's where I've been measureing the front. And on the rear I've been measuring about 6 in. back of that point. Thanks for your reply.
