I don't know anything about setting up a truck, but I have seen some run before in West Plains, MO and most of them are pretty competitive. Last time I was there one took the feature. I'm sure a person can make it work if they know what their doing.

I really like the trucks I guess because there different. Ive even seen some built on the GM metric frame they work as good as the cars because the chassis is a car.I like the 67 to 72 models if you can find one and your rules dont allow the metric frame they have rear coils, long control arms like a cup car and a panhard bar.But the majority Ive seen are the 73 up chevys since the leaf springs mount outside the frame they run long shackles on the back turned upward that really gets the back of the truck down low I wish more places ran the trucks boothill in shreveport usually has 22 to 26 every sat. night and they put on a show....sorry so long....towman

I like the trucks, but according to the rules at West Plains it must be a truck frame. I'm not sure about North Central Arkansas Speedway.

we had a truck class in our area but it died out. they had to use and s-10 or ranger frame and could run any of the compact truck bodies didn't have to match frame they ran 320 cid flat top limit looked pretty cool. i would like to run one myself but don't think it would ever fly running here with trucks and cars together think a s-10 could run pretty good with metric cars if she was set up right but not sure how much weight difference there would be think that might be a factor but i think in the future with the thinning number of useable metric cars it might be an option
