I have a metric GM chassis setup with racing springs and afco shocks. the car is tight entering the turn and loose coming off. The car scaled at 53% left, 53% rear, 53% cross. will turning the rf ***** jack down (making spring stiffer) help me or hurt me? The front of the car also seams to bounce allot in the corners.
1/4 mile bank dirt track. TIA

Yes that will tighten you up coming off those metric cars are bad to rock side to side alot if the corners are rough the only way I know to cure that is stiffin the springs or shocks..hope this helps...towman

what are you running for springs on the front? on my first car it was a diesle so i left the stock springs up front and it bounced real bad because i didn't have enough split on the front i changed the left with a softer spring and it went away usually 200# split in front is the way to go

It pushes when i try and turn in, about center of the turn out it gets loose. I dont know for sure about the spring rates, the guy I bought the car from thinks the lf is about 800 and the rf is 1200 or 1400.

I run 3 brakes

we run our car with a 1100 and 900 up front and a 175 and 125 in the rear. We scale the car to 53 rear 52 left and 51 cross. We have the luxery of running hoosier tires out here in Ca. As for stager we run the front straight up and 3 in in the rear. We run a slightly larger 3/8 hight bank oval. hope this helps
