I was wondering if a oil pan with a 12 inch long bottom will fit in a street stock. Engine has to be sitting in stock location.
I know a 12 inch with a square bottom won't work, but the one I have now is a moroso and each of the corners is angled. I don't want to put it on the engine if it is wrong.
Or is the only pan I can use one with the 10 inch long bottom?
Thanks

there are two thiings in your way here.
One is the crossmember. If the motor has to stay in stock location then there probably isnt any room for the 12 inch long.
The second is the rules for your class.
Make sure there is no rules regarding the pan you can run.

Thanks, we measured it as much as we could and we think it will go. It will be tight though. We don't have any rules regarding oil pans. Run a Wissota street stock.
Thanks again
