i am building a new engine and need some suggestions on a good cam!!! rules is any hydraulic cam.no roller.... i got a 350 bored .030 over, trw 4 eye brow pistons,882headsabout 70cc,cast iron intake,850 quad.4 barrel,614 gear. any help would be useful,want to turn about 6000, on a 3/8 mile track!!!!

look into the crane cams wg-1064. Good cam.

the comp extreme energy hydraulics work real good. they make your motor think its got more compression then it does. ran one in our drag boat, works great.

Comp cams recomended an extreme energy 12-264-3 for my simmilar application...It has .487 int and .490 lift and 230 and 236 duration @.05.

i've always had good luck with the crane energizer 10007 it's a 480 lift and 282 duration i ran it with 1.6 rockers tho bumped the lift up a bit this year going with a speedpro 510 lift alot of guys around here are going to that cam with alot of succes

For oval track, speedway was theie own house grinds made specifically for this. Excellent price too...i think 69.00.

I think youll like that cam , I had one in my sons car for 2 years.We ran 3/8 & 1/2 tracks with it.
