i have noticed at some of the tracks i have been to that some of the guys have mounted there shocks on the roll cage to the a-arm.is this a better than the stock location and how do you go about changing it over?also i was wondering about the rear as well?

the reason for doing that is if you use weight jacks in the front you can't run stock mount shocks becuase the jackscrew sits where the stock would mount on the upper a frame mount

Steve Smith says to mt the bottom of the shock as close to the lower ball joint as possible
