take apiece of flat stock bout 18 inches long or whatever and drill two holes so you can bolt it on in place of the rim. make another one for the other side. turn em both so they are parallel to the shop floor. use a measuring tape. thats all there is to it. make sure the flat stock IS straight. neil

The wheelbase on all the Novas are 111 in the only differences are pre 74 are rear steer and 75 and newer are front steer, there are minute differences in the width, length and heigth but not enough to make a big difference. Also Camaro suspension parts will interchange. Eddie

racer17j I would hate to see your car, a metric is 58 outside to outside and a nova is 60.5 thats a 2.5" difference, if thats close I have a lot of engine parts you would probably use.

j/k

camaro 61.5 108 wheelbase.
nova 60.5 110 I think, I'll measure 1.
metric 58 108 wheelbase.
82 camaro 61.5 101 wheelbase.

yes im going to build a I stock.

and im sure ill make it to beatrice, as well as everywhere else around here.

there are too **** many metrics, but after going to the pull a parts in omaha I see why there was only one nova, and a bunch of metrics.

If it is 111, I was mis informed, but I think it is 110, as for the rear end, I would run the 58 incher, Bleh chevy

I got the 111 in out of the Hayes repair manual, they also had widths and heights. Eddie

if the subframe is bolted to the floorboard still you can slot the mounting holes to move it back. you can also run chrysler leaf springs in the rear. these will both shorten the wheelbase. its proboably not legal though. NR
