i put 11 inchers in the back. i know from researching this forum thats thats a good length. how do i keep the springs in place when i jack the car up????81 grand prix. thanks gould

Are you allowed to chain the rear? you might think about fixin a length of chain from the frame down and around the axle leavin enough to allow wanted suspension travel.

no chains. i had a vision of welding bolts to the spring seats. using 1/4 inch plate and bolting the top and bottom. lemme know what ya think.

Use the plate as a strap bolted to the spring seat clamping the spring to the seat it could work need to watch for spring bind I would guess but is something to think about
