dirt girl get ahold of mark at terminator in webster city he build 3 newer style cars this year on metric chassis as a test program for imca possibley going to be legal for stock cars in 04. bascily he took the floor pan from the metric and used the outer skins from a 92 grand is a pic

yeah 92 was a great year.
thats the body i hung on my car well, i used the rear quarters from one.

the original car was blue, and is real easy to see what i used from the original car. The origianl roof would have worked i just used the fiberglass because i had it. the OEM tin was actually lighter. the stuff is lighter than aluminium..
the bigest problem i ran into was with the c pillars locating with the rear wheel openings.. and also the fuel door on the drivers corner. as yo ucan see from the pics i ended up just using the top few inches and hanging metal the rest of the way down..
goto photo gallery and 2002
2002body7.jpg was the test fit..
2002body25.jpg was the end result

oh yeah this is a caprice chassis!! so a small metric would be very do-able..
