Ok I'm working on a stock frame 76 Monte Carlo for a guy. He wants to go to a three link. Since the car doesn't have an underslung frame how can I add a panhard rod and keep it low enough?

I thought about welding a tube to the bottom of the frame rail to mount a clevis too and add a few gusset tubes, but I don't know if it will be strong enough laterally.

Another idea I had was if there is tire clearance I would weld a tube on the outside of the framerail and connect the two at the bottom to add some latteral bracing.

any ideas or especially photos would be appreciated.
