Got some dumb questions from a guy who's always run automatics.

I have a 406 Chevy, a stock 3 speed and stock bellhousing and a Titon triple disc clutch and flywheel.

I want to use a hydraulic throwout bearing, but how does the throwout bearing work? What does it mount to? Do I need a special bell housing?

Thanks...

I have always used a Quartermaster hyd. t/o brg with Tilton clutches. Works awesome and doesnt require those pain in the **** long studs that the other brands do. the QM brg simply slides over the input shaft and a recess where the fork stud goes in, keeps it from spinning around. Very easy and comes with easy instructions, shim it once and your done.
