if it was me i'd cut the cage out and find a new car those uni bodies will give you trouble for ever once they are bent in the rear

yep if you don't give it something to give bsck there or up front too it'll transfer that energy up into the car farther even bend the cage(rare but it can happen)also harder on driver in a big hit.

The same thing happened to me, just plate it and if you can, underslung it, that should help. I won six races after the car came back from the frame shop so if it is done right it shouldnt be a problem
