For the money the Midwest intake is a great piece.

Is the Midwest manifold designed for use with 2 barrel and adapter plate OR can it be used with a Quadrajet?

I use an adapter plate turned upside down for a holley. You can turn it rightside up to run with a quad.

Does it need an adapter OR can a Q jet be bolted to it with a regular gasket ?

Unless the guy I talked to when I ordered mine was wrong, he told me they made it for a 4 barrel only now, but that's just what he told me, their phone # is 1 800 262 5033.

To answer your question Rich, I think it's originally made for spreadbore so a quadrajet can be bolted to it with a regular gasket, but I'd call to make sure, I might be wrong.
