im building a metric car. last year i had alot of clutch problems.we have to run stock clutch.i was told to run a hydraulic throw out. i have found 2 types one for racing and one for stock i was told to run the racing bearing that it will work fine with my stock clutch but im not sure if the guy just wants to make a sale or if it will really work for me help before i spend money on it and then have to turn around and buy a different one

i always ran the stock non-hydraulic type myself with zero problems.

Most racing ones don't move far enough to disengage a stock clutch. Check with the manufacturer or a reputable dealer (someone who sells both) before you buy.

hey richard, it's wes. the stock release bearing/stock fork with a hydraulic slave cylinder is the cheapest most reliable way to go. i'll help you set it up when you get the car back from the chassis shop. give me a ring. later.......

use the stock hydraulic throwout it is the only way to go very easy to setup and no more adjusting after that and no forks or anything to bend or break so if you get hit you can still use the clutch
