What are your all's suggestions for places to buy Ford engine parts? Best quality for best price sort of thing. My engine builder is suggesting Summit, but I consider some of their stuff high. Any ideas?

Thanx!

Donnie

Speedway Motors has about the best price and selection for Ford parts you will find.

Thanks, but I'm not sure it was a wise choice, as far as how easy it is to find parts and whatnots.......does any Ford drivers have a particular body style that is good for racing, looks and function, and of course, availability?

We use a late model LTD II. It is a bit long but for starting out it gives you a little more protection. As far as finding parts, i suggest going to your local ford dealer and getting a ford performance catalog. I was told when I started that Ford parts are harder to find and more expensive, which I haven't found to be true if you know where to look. Most your race catalogs cater to the Metric GM crowd so you have to be a bit resourceful. Also it wouldn't hurt to become friends with your local junkyard.
