Hi - Steve Smith Publications has a great book titled how to build a street stock race car. I have found alot of valuable information in it!

Check out Sleepy Gomez's IMCA Street Stock build up in Circle Track magazine. Very detailed process.

Good Luck!
I've been building speedway cars here in Australia for about 18 yrs and no two cars were ever built in the same order of construction....there are always too many variables: parts missing and/or broken, bits that some drivers prefer that others loathe, parts to be used on a new car that are still seeing duty on the old car, and the everpresent specification and safety advances to keep track of.....but basically it's just shell it out, bar it out, paint it up and race it. (VERY basically lol)

GO TO WWW.nevadaracing.com/area51/street1.htm. It is on a street stock, but I think that it will help.

Must be too early. Tried the link and it does not work.not sure what I typed wrong. It takes a little longer, but if you go to www.navadaracing.com and go to the link for area 51 it will get you to it.
