I am just a beginner ( at 41 years old) and am going to be racing Factory Stocks at a half mile dirt track and am looking for information on which transmission to run. I have a Powerglide and a Chevy Th350 and Buick Th350. I have heard a couple of pros and cons on each of these transmissions. I will be running a 85 Olds Cutlass with a minimum weight of 3400#. I appreciate all the help I can get! I have really enjoyed reading other peoples question and the responses that they have recieved! Great people here! Thanks!

which ever one you decide to use make sure to have it rebuilt by someone who knows what they are doing. It will save you alot of hassle in the future

Run your 'Glide in low and put about a 333 gear in it. If you have someone freshen it right it should last for a season or so.
