Going to be running a fast 1/2 mile.
Open clutch rule, question is, I already have a single disk clutch in hand, I know a triple disk is a lot better and alot more costly, but how much would a street stock benefit from a triple?

it will knock about 30# of rotatng weight off the drive train wich in turn will make for better responce off the corners. it's enough advantave in my class to alow cars with stock single disks to run 100# lighter overall weight than cars with multi disks

do you mean you have a stock single disc clutch or a mini single disc clutch (such as quartermaster)? if you already have the mini clutch then all you will gain is more torque capacity. actually a triple disc weighs more than a mini single disc clutch.

I believe what I have is a stock Hays pressure plate and clutch.
I'm trying to spend my money in the right places, and with time get some better parts.
But I would like to be competitive also.
The two don't usually go together, but sometimes more money isn't really needed.
