Hello i want to build a super street stock and like any track they have a weight limit. And i have found an 1985 monte carlo for sale but before i purchase it i would like to know if anyone knows the average weight of them. The wieght limit at the track is max. 3000 I weight about 200 pounds so i was wondering if anyone can help me

Max weight is 3000??? Or do you mean minimum weight?? A monte can weigh whatever you want it to, its all in the cage, motor and all the bolt ons. Minimum barwork, lightweight aluminum everything 2400# or so or a "tank" could weigh 3500#+.

Sixwillwin is right. A Monte Carlo can weigh what ever you want it to. We build one that weighed a little over 3000 with a 200 lb. driver. But I Think they are saying min. not max. RVR racing.

mine weights in at 3120 with me and 22 gallons of fuel and i gutted alot out of it i got a buddy that has onethat weights 3550 so it all depends on what you use

Mine weighed 2600 without the lead. Got it up to about 3100 now so the percentages are right.
