Anyone have a clue on how much weight I'll be saving by going to a Bert vs. a Saginaw 3-speed w/ triple disc?

The BERT tranny by itself is 49lbs, flexplate and crank hub maybe about 7-9 lbs, then whatever the bellhousing weighs.
Bert setup 56-58 lbs plus bellhousing.

You'll lose a bunch of rotating weight too.

The BERT would require less HP then the Saginaw. You are turning more gears in the Saginaw tranny than you are in the BERT. You also have an enormess amount of more recipocating weight with a flywheel, pressure plate and disc for the Saginaw, compared to a automatic flexplate and crank coupler for the BERT.

If you were running the scattershield with the 3sp and switch to a stock aluminum bellhousing there is going to be more than 20 lbs difference in the static weight. The rotating weight is a big difference also.I wrote all this down when I made the swap, but I dont have it here with me.
